"This is a great trip. It is awesome to have you put us in places where all we have to think about is riding. The flexibility in the schedule and super-laid back atmosphere is awesome! Thanks for putting together a kick-ass trip!"
Jason Lavigne, CAN, Surf and Singletrack (Chile)

Responsible Riding
What's Responsible Riding? it's the name of our social and environmental responsibility mandate. Other companies talk about it, we do it: Responsible Riding sets concrete, measurable goals for our sustainability efforts that we strive to live up to.
Examples:
-donating 2% of tour costs to local development projects
-sourcing 50% local food
-running our BC vans on waste vegetable oil instead of pollution-causing gas
-hiring only local guides and using local suppliers

What is it about our Peru trips that make them so special? Perhaps it's 20,000-foot mountains lined with 500-year-old terraces everywhere you look. Perhaps it's riding on centuries-old Inca trails, through remote Quechua villages. Perhaps it's visiting people whose culture is still thriving and is virtually unchanged from a few centuries ago.
Whatever your reason for visiting Peru, you're sure to have an experience that will touch you deeply, and cause you to reorient the way you look at the world. It did for me, and I know it will for you too.

La Ruta de Maya - New Guatemala Trip!
English Novelist Aldous Huxley called Lake Atitlan “the most beautiful lake in the world.” Lago de Atitlan is just on of the stops on our new La Ruta de Maya trip in Guatemala. Guatemala is a land exploding with history and culture. From the impressive Temple of the Jaguar at the Mayan ruins of Tikal, to the charming colonial city of Antigua, Guatemala is a feast for the eyes. Over 60% of this country's inhabitants are of Mayan ancestry, and Mayan culture is strong and vibrant in Guatemala today. With spectacular volcanoes everywhere and one of the world's most spectacular lakes in Lago de Atitlan, this central American country is one of the best places in the Western Hemisphere for adventure and cultural tourism. Quantum of Solace finishes filming in Northern Chile
The Atacama Desert of northern Chile is one of the most surreal, spectacular places on the planet. In addition to having the distinction of being the driest place on the planet (some areas of the Atacama have never reported rain in the last 500 years), the Atacama area boasts 6,000 m volcanoes, landscapes straight from the surface of the moon, and bubbling geysers and lagoons fit for the planet Mars.
So it's no surprise that the producers of the new Bond movie 'Quantum of Solace' (what exactly does that mean?) chose Atacama as one of the locations for their new installment of the Bond franchise. You simply can't find a more amazing backdrop on the planet.
That spectacular backdrop is one of the reasons why we chose the Atacama area as the setting for one of our newest adventures in Chile. Combining mountain biking and surfing in the Santiago/Valparaiso area with mountain biking, hiking and other activities in the Atacama area, our Surf and Singletrack trip is an adventure lover's dream.
Join us in Chile next November and do your own James Bond impression... [more information]
