90% of our Riders bring their own bikes to enjoy their Sacred Ride. Many of them ask us what the best method of transporting it is. Although you can get by with a free cardboard box from your local bike store... you get what you pay for (poor protection and durability). You can opt to spend the big bucks for a hardshell bike case, but they're super bulky and heavy, and you'll get dinged by the airlines every time.
Our recommended travel solution is a softshell bike bag, such as the one at right by Pika Packworks. You get a high level of protection, light weight, moderate cost, and you can often check it through as regular baggage, avoiding expensive bike fees.
